Re: No Throttle response.!!!-----> dead in the water..

Let me make myself clear: I understand what throttle unit is, but I don't understand what they mean by 'disconnect the throttle unit'. The throttle unit is a tubular carburator-like part, why would you disconnect it (unscrew and pull it out of the induction gallery)? If they mean 'disconnect the throttle wiring' then the only wiring on the throttle are those 4 potentiometer wires. But then why don't they say: 'disconnect wires from potentiometer on the throttle unit'? Am I making any sense?

: i see the throttle unit and the potentiometer, which has four wires going to the ECU. I have removed those wires with the ignition on, then put them back on and openned the throttle to max and back and turned ignition off...and nothing.
